This method will save time if the form is not submitted correctly.
For properties located inside the city limits of Bellville and Sealy, you will need to contact the city offices for new addresses.

You must know the property identification number (PID) to request an address. This number can be found on the Austin County Appraisal District tax statements. Knowing this number when you contact this office will expedite the process. You can visit the Austin County Appraisal District website and search for the property identification number if you do not have a copy of your tax statement. You will need to enter the property owner's name.
All buildings need a 9-1-1 address; call (979) 865 - 1911 with questions or concerns. The Austin County Planning and Development Department of Austin County handles all other permits.

Our office addresses all properties located outside the incorporated areas listed above. Please use the New Address Request form provided below.
Our computer system assigns addresses. If we have questions about the location of an entrance or structure, we will email you an aerial view of the property. We will also email you your 911 address letter. We prefer to send the letter via email but can also send a hard copy via the US postal service.
